mark Set the Light Earrings

I have a soft spot for a lot of the mark products. And the pictures I took of the earrings really do not do it justice. 

The mark Set the Light Earrings are available in Silvertone or Goldtone. Each set includes a pair of hoops measuring 3/4" and a pair of studs 5/8" with 26 genuine Swarovski crystals. Wow! If you're a Swarovski fan, you definitely need to pick these up!

 

The only beef I have with these are the backing of the earring. They feature a  silver back with a clear plastic piece on them. It's larger, so it interferes with the earring in the other hole in my ear...

Twitter

I'm a little slow to the party, but I am *trying* to understand and start a Twitter account.

I had created one in the past in which the sole purpose was only for entering contests that required Twitter. But now, it seems as if everyone has one (including my husband who uses it to keep up with sports scores!), so, if you have any tips or hints for me, please share!

Loreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes

I can't even begin to tell you how I adore this mascara! I got turned back on to Loreal last year when they were running a contest a Facebook to win a free mascara & I did win and this was the one I received. I was totally blown away by how well this drugstore bargain works and have been repurchasing it, along with trying other Loreal mascaras, since then.

I can get a really good application with this in a little over one coat. By that I mean that I do apply one full coat and then go in and add a little more just on the ends to make my lashes a scooch longer.

The last time I work this mascara to work, I was asked if I was wearing one of those $30 false fiber mascaras. Haha... Nope.... Just my less than $10 drugstore brand :)

My color of choice is Blackest Black.

My left eye always seems to look better...

It's so easy to get thick/long lashes with the Loreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara. Seriously, if you haven't yet tried it, do so now if big lashes are your thing.

 I always purchase mine from CVS b/c they run beauty specials weekly and these go on sale often where you can also get bucks back. However, the cheapest price I found online was from Target.

Birchbox Aces Surprise

I received a nice little surprise from Birchbox in the mailbox that was separate from my monthly box...

They sent this to me to "kick off my membership" to Aces. They also state there will be "more good things to come". I hope that means more surprises like this!!

It is quite small and I do have a lot of small cosmetic bags- I'm thinking this would be perfect to store pens/pencils in.

The inside is hot pink. So cute!
